And we'd rather not have every app quietly shipping our data off to some server. If one of them turns out useful to you too, even better. Some apps might be paid or have paid features, to cover costs of equipment and development work done.

JiStitcher
In developmentJiStitcher is a panorama stitcher for Mac and iPad. It joins the raw frames of a DJI drone sphere panorama into one 360-degree panorama of about 150 megapixels and saves it as a 16-bit Linear DNG, for editing in Lightroom or another raw editor. So far it has been tested with the DJI Mini 5 Pro.
It can also export AVIF, HEIC, JPEG or TIFF images, and includes a viewer for the finished panoramas, usable by touch, mouse and trackpad.
Release planned for November 2026 at the latest. Planned price: a one-time purchase of around 40-50 € (roughly $45-56 at the exchange rate of 16 October 2026), not final.
